New Maple Streaky Bacon with Baked Brie

  • Cook time: 55 minutes (includes cooking of bacon)
  • Yield: Serves 4-6
  • 1 Wheel of brie
  • 1 Clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 tsp Neutral oil
  • 1 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 20g Pistachios
  • Selection of crackers and grapes to serve!
  1. Prepare the Maple Streaky bacon as per the instructions on the package.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200°C/350°F/Gas Mark 4.
  3. Place the brie in an oven safe bowl or tray. Score the top of the brie with a knife and add the minced garlic, oil and maple syrup. Ensure it has evenly coated the top of the wheel.
  4. Place the brie into the oven for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the brie from the oven, add the pistachios onto the top of the brie and place back into the oven for 5 minutes to roast.
  6. Top with chopped O’Neills Maple Streaky Bacon and serve with a selection of crackers and grapes and Maple Streaky Bacon on the side.
